Quinta De Santa Bárbara

We loved it so much, we stayed another night! 🩷 This Quinta is a true gem and exceeded all expectations. It felt like sleeping in a movie set, it was so beautiful. What we loved: the hospitality, the price, the host and all of the staff, the pool (with salt water), the breakfast croissants, the lovely vintage bar. Oh, and the cars! We'll definitely be back, muito obrigada!

We had a lovely stay and want to thank the owners for making us feel at home. The whole farm is stunning, rooms were clean and tidy. We had a fabulous meal at the restaurant, the steak and the duck magret were, for dessert the pina colada and the petit gateau were absolutely delicious. We also want to thank the chef, cooks and staff. The place has been under new management since February, and we were told that they've been working hard to restore the hotel and restaurant to its full potential and splendor. And what a great job they have done so far.

This is a super renovated ex convent set in countryside just outside Constancia. It has massive potential as a retreat place. There's a lovely pool, superb views. We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely go back. But, it has a few areas that could be improved. I'm vegan so we emailed the hotel to inform them of this, as breakfast is included. When we got to our first breakfast it was clear that the information hadn't been shared with the caterers. The lady who organised breakfast did a great job to cater for me but she had been blindsided unnecessarily. I also feel that tea and coffee making facilities should be made available as when we were there neither the bar nor the restaurant was open. We enjoyed the access to the TV lounge, though, where we were able to watch the football. Niggly little things, easy to change. Overall, we had a great time
